Collective for Multicultural Exchange
Art, Research & Culture
About us
COMEX-ARC is a Paris-based non-profit collective working across Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Global South diaspora.
We operate at the intersection of community-based art, participatory research, and cross-border cultural exchange. Our projects respond to urgent contemporary questions -migration, identity, memory, belonging, and social justice - not as abstract themes, but as lived realities.
What distinguishes COMEX-ARC is our ability to bridge artistic creation with rigorous research and field-based engagement.
We design residencies, public programs, and cultural initiatives that are ethically grounded, community-led, and methodologically informed.
Flagship Project: FlowCCA
FlowCCA (Flow-Culture, Creativity & Arts) is a trans-Mediterranean programme that promotes dialogue, mobility, and collaboration through art and research.
Designed as a multi-phase residency and public engagement platform, FlowCCA brings together artists, researchers, and local communities across Europe and North Africa to collectively explore questions of human mobility, memory, identity, and social justice.
Funded by the European Union and Avocats Sans Frontières (ASF), FlowCCA strengthens cross-border cooperation while foregrounding ethical storytelling, inclusion, and cultural solidarity across the Mediterranean region.
